We welcome families and as we have children ourselves we understand that for you to have a good time, your children need to have a good time too!
We have a beautiful large garden with a fantastic adventure playground, a giant chalkboard for the creative ones and from Easter we have two bouncy castles every weekend and everyday during the school holidays (weather permitting!) and for those not so nice days we supply colouring sheets & crayons indoors!

Parties
We can also host your child's party in our garden, take the stress out of organising it and just think no mess at home! We have a hosted a number of children's parties now and they have all been a tremendous success with both the children and the adults having a great time! Please call us or pop in for details.
"I hosted my son's 3rd birthday party at the Royal Oak, in their garden. My husband and I were so impressed to find such a lovely family orientated pub which had such a big play area for the children that was completely safe!!! The children were seated under a gazebo for their lunch and were free to run around and enjoy the super playframe. The staff took care of the party from start to finish which meant us parents could relax and enjoy the day as much as the children. The party was a HUGE success so much so that we ended up staying until bedtime!! I would strongly recommend a visit to The Royal Oak, it's a great FAMILY day out" Kelly Newman
